THE VASONT USERS’ GROUP CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF NETWORKING ON CONTENT MANAGEMENT

Users of the Vasont Content Management System celebrate a decade of information sharing with a training extravaganza

Emigsville, PA, September 28, 2009 — Vasont Systems, a leading provider of content management software and data services, will celebrate the tenth anniversary of its Vasont Users’ Group from October 6-15, 2009 with a training extravaganza to be held on the Internet via video conferencing technology. The Vasont Users’ Group consists of client users of the Vasont Content Management System (CMS), a component content management system used to create technical documentation, reference manuals, online training and knowledge centers, and other business publications.

Since 2000, the Vasont Users’ Group has held annual meetings and training sessions in various regional locations, including Hershey, PA and New York City and has included client presentations, networking sessions, and Vasont CMS training. This year, the group will present the Vasont University Training Extravaganza! that will be held online using video conferencing technology and will include a series of sessions, including an informational session presented by Vasont Systems, five Vasont University training sessions, and a session to discuss future development ideas for the Vasont CMS.

“Our clients have said that the annual Vasont Users’ Group Meeting is their best conference of the year,” said Suzanne Mescan, Vice President of Marketing for Vasont Systems. “With many clients’ travel budgets slashed to the bone this year, traveling to a face-to-face meeting was out of the question for them. But that isn’t stopping us from getting together to network and learn from each other. We are meeting virtually this year, using web cams and video conferencing technology to provide the feeling of being in the same room together.”
