SYSTEMS
BTI Systems upgrades to Vasont for flexible, true content
management
Emigsville, PA, July 20, 2009 — Vasont Systems,
a leading provider of component content management software
and data services, today announced that its Vasont Hosted
Content Management System was chosen by BTI Systems to provide
a superior DITA content management environment for their technical
documentation process, replacing their previous content management
system. After a successful conversion of their content to

“There are many reasons why we chose Vasont as our mission-critical
content management system for technical documentation,”
said Tamsin Douglas, Manager of Technical Marketing and Documentation
for BTI Systems. “Vasont provided us with a true DITA
solution that is both scalable and flexible. Vasont’s
Oracle database and robust architecture enables us to do true
reuse allowing us to leverage content and maximize the efficiency
of the documentation team. In addition, we have been truly
impressed with Vasont’s technical team and customer
care; they worked closely with us on our configuration and
continue to support us as we make changes and add functionality
to our system.”
“It is very rewarding to help a client advance their
content management efforts to a more efficient and productive
level,” said Richard Schiding, President of Vasont Systems.
“We team up with our clients to ensure a successful
content management implementation, and we are thrilled to
add BTI Systems to the roster.”
Designed to improve productivity, the Vasont content management
system makes it easy for organizations to manage and publish
multilingual technical documentation, training materials,
and other publications from one trusted source to multiple
media formats. Organizations use Vasont to collaborate on
improving the quality of their content and to schedule and
