Joy Mining Machinery and Vasont Systems present a case study
on how to build a business plan for content management
Emigsville, PA, April 6, 2009 — Vasont Systems,
a leading provider of content management software and data
services, and their client, Joy Mining Machinery, will present,
“How to Convince Management to Move the Team to a New
Arena” at the Content Management Strategies/DITA North
America conference in St. Petersburg, FL. This presentation
will be delivered by Jack Miller of Joy Mining Machinery and
Bill Gamboa of Vasont Systems at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April
28, 2009.
Jack and Bill will present the case study of Joy Mining Machinery’s
experiences in planning for a content management strategy
and convincing their management team to approve it. They will
talk about the decisions they had to make, how they built
their compelling business plan, what went well and what they
would do differently in hindsight. Join this session and hear
how Joy Mining Machinery scored big with their management
team to make it happen.
In addition, Bill will present a demonstration of how to find
the right content when you need it using the Vasont content
management system. This demonstration will take place on Monday,
April 27 at 2:00 pm.
Jack Miller, Technical Information Engineer for Joy Mining
Machinery, is responsible for the mechanical systems technical
documentation for Joy Mining’s OE equipment manufactured
in the US. He is an active member of the joint Joy and P&H
committee that investigated and selected the CMS. Jack is
also a core member of the CMS implementation team. He earned
a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
Bill Gamboa joined Vasont Systems in 2008 as Applications
Engineer and has discovered the Company offers a “great
product, great job, and great people.” He previously
was a CMS Administrator for Siemens Automations and Postal
Division; CMS Consultant for US Navy Combat Systems Operating
Sequencing Systems; Director of Content Management at Axentis,
LLC Compliance Data Management; and Sr. Consultant and Training
Manager at Interleaf, Inc. He enjoys helping organizations
be more proficient with their content and helping them realize
that their content is an asset.
