Production Editor
Sales Representative, Publishing Services

Content Specialists/Writers

Publishing services company looking for talented writers on a project-by-project basis. Writers with experience writing content for grades K-2 instructional materials (reading and math) and educational textbooks (medical, nursing, occupational therapy, and biology) are encouraged to contact us.

Copyeditors

Freelance copyediting opportunities are available on a project-by-project basis. Specialty areas needed are medical, technical (math, accounting, engineering, chemistry), and el-hi. A minimum of 2 years experience in copyediting is required. Please be prepared to submit to testing. Please submit references with resume, a list of the style guides and reference books with which you are familiar, a list of software programs you have experience with, as well as pertinent work experience. Only applicants with expertise/familiarity in these specific subject areas will be considered.

Production Editor

We are currently searching for an experienced Production Editor for editorial management of textbooks and other publications. Position is part-time, 20-30 hours per week. Ideal candidates have two or more years experience in publishing or book production; excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deal with frequent interruptions. Also required is demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of MSWord and Excel. Only qualified candidates should submit resume and salary history.

Sales Representative, Publishing Services

We are currently looking for an experienced publishing services Sales Representative. The selected individual will be selling publishing associated services (project management, editorial, design, composition, prepress and new media related services) to organizations and businesses that have publishing requirements needed to support their main business objectives. Successful candidates must be highly motivated and able to sell to senior level decision makers. Compensation for this position is directly proportionate with sales success. Relocation may be necessary. Travel is required.
